This was a wonderful place for a getaway. Marina was very accommodating and spoke english very well. The location is outstanding and is very near the little used entrance to the Serra dos Orgaos national park so there were no crowds in the park. The price paid for the accommodation was fair. I will consider upgrading to a better room on our next trip. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Excellent trip. We will go back for another visit.
The room furnishings could have been a bit better.

Surrounded by lush greenery and a majestic man made waterfall, this mountain retreat offers an escape from the hustle of city life. the rooms are well, appointed, clean, and offer awe, inspiring views of the valley and mountains. the staff is attentive and the breakfast is mouth, watering.
The hotel was quite far from the nearest town and the bathroom had low water pressure, making it difficult to shower comfortably.

The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful and informative regarding travelling to other parts of Brazil. The setting is stunning (beside the national park and nestled in the mountains) and the pousada itself is beautifully furnished and decorated. We were upgraded to a chalet room with a fireplace at no extra cost. The food was very good.
If you don't have a car it's difficult to get to. The pousada is quite isolated - there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance. The food at the pousada is a bit pricey. No wifi in the rooms - just in the common areas.

The best service ever!!! The hotel is a piece of paradise on earth but is outshined by Marina who runs the hotel who is the most friendly hostress we have ever met. Every time we had a question she was ready to help with everything from restaurant recommandations to plannnig he rest of our trip;)

The views from the mountain top were breathtaking and there were plenty of opportunities for adventure activities nearby. the breakfast spread was impressive and exceeded expectations with fresh fruit and baked goods.
The room lacked character and needed some finishing touches. the bathroom felt cramped and basic.

We had an amazing time here! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled amongst the mountains and right at the entrance to the national park. The views were breathtaking and it felt like we were in our own little paradise. The service was impeccable, with room service and a shuttle service available. We were welcomed with a delicious drink and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. this place exceeded our expectations and provided us with a luxurious and enjoyable experience.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Enjoyed the surrounding area with lots of things to do and see, including some great hiking trails. The breakfast was decent with good coffee and lots of fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The overall layout of the hotel was confusing, difficult to navigate and lacked a clear signposting.

I had an amazing stay surrounded by nature in this hotel that is located in the mountains right at the entrance to the National Park. I loved that the hotel provided transportation to enter the park easily. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel facilities were great, including a natural swimming pool. Everything was very clean.
Didn’t dislike anything about the hotel.
